- Born and raised in Louisville, Kelly grew up in the east end of town and attended Ky Country Day School, and graduated with a degree in Education from the University of Dayton.
- She taught first grade while living in Hilton Head Island with her husband Bill.
- They moved back to Louisville in 1999 where they purchased a home in Hunting Creek subdivision to raise their 3 boys.
- She enjoys playing tennis and cooking and is an avid reader - a member of a local book club that meets monthly.
- In her spare time she volunteers at St. Mary's Academy and substitute teaches on occassion.
- She specializes in re-sale home sales including condominiums and continually strives to broaden her knowledge of the industry through various classes and seminars.
